Tires are vulnerable to leaks, punctures and separation, which lead to financial, safety, operational and environmental issues.

Reduced Tire Lifespan

Running a tire at as little as 10% below the manufacturer’s recommended pressure can contribute to 20% reduction in the tire’s lifespan.

Under-inflation can also cause overheating of the tire, damaging it and making it unsuitable for retreading.

Costly Repairs

Repairing or replacing tires is expensive, factoring in the material cost as well as the operational cost of mobile workshops and staff for tire issues which happen on the roads.

Operational Downtime

A punctured tire can put a machine out of service, which can impact entire plants and manufacturing lines. For example, a punctured tire in a wheel loader prevents it from filling trailers with material, halting downstream plant operations. Similarly, punctures in waste haulers, refrigerated bodies, and concrete mixers lead to costly disruptions and even product damage.

Excess Fuel Consumption

Tire under-inflation, material damage, and overheating all contribute to increased rolling resistance in the tire, which lead to unnecessary fuel consumption, driving up costs invisibly.

Tough Protection System

Tough Protection System (TPS) is a liquid vulcanised rubber enforced with fibers, sealing air leakages, automatically creating patches, and preventing tire separation in commercial vehicles and heavy equipment tires.

TPS

Application

TPS is injected into the tire through the valve using a pump; the tire doesn’t need to be dismantled from the machine, nor does the tire need to be removed from the rim.

The amount to be pumped is defined by the tire size. It circulates inside the tire as the tire operates regularly.

TPS

Functionality

When a tire is punctured, TPS prevents leaks while the object remains inside, allowing the machine to keep running for its shift without interrupting operations. When the object is removed, the air in the tire forces TPS into the puncture, sealing holes up to 12mm.

TPS also prevents leaks from pores, rims, beads, O-rings and valves. Additionally, TPS protects rims, belts and valves from rust & corrosion using strong inhibitors. TPS also keeps the metal armory cool to prevent rust and enable retreading.

TPS

Benefits

TPS’s thixotropic nature means it dynamically balances the wheel by adding weight to the weakest point. It also reduces thermal and mechanical stress and eliminates slippage between the tire and the rim. If applied to tires in good condition, TPS can also prevent tire separation.

Using TPS can lead to huge savings, which we've broken down below.

6,695 AED Saved

Per truck per 70,000 km driven.

  • Extended Tire Life

If a tire costs 1,800 AED, a 6x4 truck with 10 tires will have 18,000 AED worth of tires. If we assume our product only improves tire life by 10% due to the prevention of pressure loss, the cooling, and prevention of tire separation, then that’s a saving of 1,800 AED per truck. This is a conservative estimate; tires lose 20% of their life if run at 10% below recommended pressure.

  • Reduced Diesel Consumption

A truck typically consumes 45 L per 100 km travelled. The typical lifespan of a tire is 70,000 km. If we conservatively assume that diesel is 2.5 AED per L, over the lifespan of the tires, the truck will consume 78,750 AED of diesel. If the improvement in rolling resistance from TPS leads to only a 1% improvement in diesel consumption, that’s 788 AED per truck.

  • Eliminated Punctures

Additionally, if we assume a total of 3 punctures per the truck over the tires’ lifetime, and a cost of 250 AED per puncture, that’s another 750 AED saved per truck.

  • Improved Retread Suitability

TPS also ensures more tires are suitable for retreading. If there is a 30% increase in the number of tires saved, that’s 3,357 AED per truck.

Eco-Sealing Rubber

Eco-Sealing Rubber (ESR) is a gel product for passenger car, pickup, and SUV tires, sealing air leakage caused by penetrating objects.

ESR is an ecological product with no negative impact on the tire's function or disposal. It offers peace of mind, knowing your vehicles are protected from being stuck on the roads due to punctured tires.

ESR

Application

The resin is heated to melt and is applied permanently on the tread area. Once cooled, it solidifies and the wheel can be balanced as normal. This resin only needs to be applied once during a tire's lifetime and is suitable for any vehicle like sedans, armed cars, and supercars.

ESR

Functionality

The resin surrounds any penetrating object and fills the wound to prevent air leakage and maintain the desired tire pressure. If the object is removed, the resin congeals over the hole and creates a robust and permanent patch, sealing holes up to 6mm
